Victor Ku leads Butterfly Network’s global technology strategy, product development, and innovation roadmap. With over two decades of experience advancing semiconductor-based imaging, AI-enabled analytics, and complex sensing systems, he brings a deep technical foundation and a history of scaling high-performance engineering organizations across the U.S., Europe, and Asia. Victor’s leadership combines rigorous technical acumen with the ability to deliver integrated hardware-software AI platforms in highly regulated markets.
Before joining Butterfly, Victor served as Vice President of R&D, Engineering, and PMO at Headwall Photonics, a PE-backed company, where he led global teams developing hyperspectral imaging systems for industrial and machine-vision applications. He previously held senior engineering leadership roles at Teledyne FLIR, onsemi, and IBM, overseeing full-stack product platforms that integrated hardware, software, and AI. Victor holds a PhD in Engineering Science from the University of Oxford and an Executive Certificate in Managing Product Platforms from MIT.
